Construction Updates

LS Power Grid California is excited to announce the start of construction activities

In June 2026, we will continue installing lines beneath city streets in San Jose and Fremont. Additionally, activities are ongoing at the Power Santa Clara Valley Project’s two terminal station sites.

June 1 to June 14

FREMONT

● BOYCE ROAD near Auto Mall Parkway. Work in southbound lanes, with partial lane closures during working hours. Some night work planned.
● CUSHING PARKWAY between Auto Mall Circle and Pacific Commons. Work in southbound lanes, with partial lane closures during working hours.
● CUSHING PARKWAY between Pacific Commons and Northport Loop West. Southbound side of bridge to be closed at night with northbound lanes remaining open for two-way traffic.
● FREMONT BLVD between Warren Avenue and Dixon Landing. Work in various lanes each direction, with partial lane closures during working hours.

SAN JOSE

● MONTEREY ROAD between Metcalf Road and Capitol Expressway. Southbound lane closures, with one southbound lane remaining open.

● Thursday, June 4^th only: MONTEREY ROAD between Metcalf Road and Bernal Road. Northbound lane closure, with one northbound lane remaining open.

● DISK DRIVE between Grand Boulevard and Nortech Parkway. Work in both directions, with partial lane closures northbound and one southbound lane remaining open. Some night work planned.

June 15 to July 14

FREMONT

SAN JOSE

● MONTEREY ROAD between Metcalf Road and just north of Capitol Expressway. Southbound lane closures, with one southbound lane remaining open.

● DISK DRIVE between Grand Boulevard and Nortech Parkway. Work in both directions, with partial lane closures northbound and one southbound lane remaining open. Some night work planned.
